 This year's Annual Meeting will be held at the Prime N Wine on February 25th. Social will begin at 5:00pm and the meeting will start at 5:30pm with dinner served shortly after. We hope you and your friends will join us this year for a night of fun, laughter and great food. As usual we will also be giving away gift certificates and packages donated by local business (see list below) as well as cash prizes! ~Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children and can be purchased before Feb. 17th at the Credit Union.

 Read Across America - Kid's Klub Event
We are proud once again to participate in Read Across America. From February 6th through the 29th we will be giving away Dr. Seuss books to Kid's Klub Members, in the back of each book is an activity should be completed by the member and turned into the Credit Union by the end of the day Feb. 29th. On National Read Across America Day (March 2nd) we will draw a winner from the activity sheets that have been turned in. The winner will win a Limo Ride for him/herself and five friends to the movie theatre on March 10th, where they will watch The Lorax! If you are not a member, ask your parents about opening an account. |

2012 North Central Chapter Scholarship
We are pleased to announce the 2012 North Central Chapter Scholarship, which will be rewarding two $500.00 scholarships. 2012 High School Seniors are encouraged to apply by simply filling out the application, which can be picked up from the Mercy-City-Lehigh Family Credit Union. Applications are available now and must be submitted by April 16th, 2012.

Information regarding our Prepaid Cards
It is virtually possible these days to buy anything you could ever need or want online, unfortunately fraudsters and thieves know this all too well. Debit Card fraud has been increasing at the Mercy-City-Lehigh Family Credit Union, and online purchases have been the most common factor among each case. One way to prevent Debit Card fraud is to purchase one of our pre-paid gift cards or travel cards. They are safe to use online or on vacation, and since they are Visa/Mastercard they are accepted at most online and in-store retailers. Here are a few need-to-knows before deciding what card would be right for you.
Visa Pre-Paid Gift Cards - $5.00 fee to purchase and can be purchased for $5-$750.
***NOTE: The Visa Pre-Paid Gift Cards are not reloadable***
Travelex Pre-Paid Mastercard - $10.00 fee to purchase and $5.00 fee to reload. These cards have a $200.00 minimum to load with a maximum load of $7,500. You can also have a secondary cardholder attached to the same account ($3.00 fee for initial setup of a secondary cardholder).
Both these cards are available at the Credit Union and are available to you at the time of purchase. For more information or to purchase one of these handy cards, call or stop in.
